Potatoes

As potato growers, we produce over 16,000 tonnes of red tractor farm assurance certified potatoes.

Our production is primarily for Walkers and McCains for processing.

Over 12,000 tonnes are stored on site, in computer controlled bulk and box stores. Some of which have refrigeration for late movement.

In 2005, Tony was one of five founder members of a growers group supplying Walkers Snack foods directly with 25,000 tonnes of quality crisping potatoes. The group, Mercian Ltd, is now the largest single supplier of crisping potatoes to the UK industry. Supplying all major crisp manufacturers in the country whilst still remaining a grower controlled business.
